Match RECAP: Lake Shore FC Solid 2-1 W on the day over a very competitive Hamburg side. The scored was locked at 0-0 at half time with both teams keepers making some great saves. Wade broke the deadlock by putting the ball into the top right corner from 20 yards out. Wade then grabbed his brace shortly after a through ball from R. Parker-Norton which he took on his left into the bottom corner. Wade will be disappointed not to have a hat trick as Matthew's made a great save in a 1v1. Hamburg pressed on after the two goals and with about 10 minutes left scored on a looping finish after the ball was unable to be cleared from the penalty area following a corner. Overall solid 3 points on a wet and cold day with short benches for each team. Hoping to keep the momentum rolling.

Match RECAP: Hamburg FC First half was pretty much back and forth at 0-0. Biggest deal was we had 3 people go out of the game with injury which left us with only 1 healthy sub. The injury bug has bit hard this year so far. At the start of the second half we came out slow and Mother Nature opened the floodgates on us. They scored 2 quick goals while we were trying to get ourselves together. I'd say from there out we may have been able to keep the pressure on them but it was just too big a deficit in the rain. Our goal was a wild chip in after bouncing around in the 18 for what felt like 5 minutes of crazinesss. As we were scoring i'm pretty sure their keeper was in the middle of yelling at defenders which made us giggle. We had plenty of chances before/after that but couldn't finish it off. Hats off to their keeper for putting in the work, he was the command center back there and was the loudest one out on the feild. Looking into the future it seems like we lucked out with today's injuries and we should have others coming back from injury for next week.
