  • Made his debut versus Charlton Athletic scoring twice
  • Scored 2 goals in a 3-2 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford Stadium
  • 1979 was sold to Reading FC for a then club record transfer fee
  • Scored on his debut versus Blackburn Rovers FC
  • 1981 was sold to Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam for yet another record transfer fee
  • Qualified for UEFA cup with teammates Louis Van Gaal and Danny Blind who are now the head coach and assistant to the Dutch National team
  • 1993-96 was player and assistant coach for Seattle Sounders
